Road Worthy

3.07.2009
I know it sounds crazy, but I want to get Hulda all together so I can take her all apart.  The idea is to make sure there are no major mechanical surprises after we do all the body work and paint, as I would hate to scratch or mar the finish after working so hard to make her shine.

So our goal is to make her "road worthy" or street legal.  I began by sorting all the parts and trying to figure out what came from all those  boxes in the barn -- and if they still work or needed to be replaced (or just trying to figure out what some of these parts are?).

That would include front and rear bumpers... Fenders and Taillights...

Rear view and driver's side mirrors... Seatbelts (these may need to be upgraded)....

Doors that close and latch (so long big bungee cord!)... A working horn (our temp switch)...

Working head lights... And turn signals...

Then just make sure tabs, registration and proof of insurance are current and we should be good to go (I'm sure I've left something out and a kind police officer will pull me over and inform me of my oversight).
