This story of a bug found in a barn has a happy ending.  As you can tell from the listing above, we have made additional upgrades to our beloved bug since posting last. I guess you don't really get a grasp on how much work you put into something till you list it.

A nice person named Jennifer came with her husband Pat and looked at the car within the first 24 hours of it's posting.  She knew what she was looking for and was a great match for her interests and needs.  She said she plans on getting collector plates for it and hopes to connect with a car club in her area.

While my daughter Julia made our other VW her daily driver through high school (since I ended up tinkering so much with the convertible), the proceeds from "Hulda" will go to help further her education... and in a way, help drive her dreams.

Thanks to all who helped us along the way in getting this project car rolling, and for following our buginabarn blog.
