We have had some cold and snowy days here that have made the garage a bit chilly to work in. To warm things up a bit, we bought Hudla a holiday gift -- a propane heater (and, properly vented, also a nice source of heat if the power goes out).
You can also see in the pic above, and below, that we have been working on the rust in the front trunk area (sanding, cleaning, metal prep, primer). I also took the front apron panel down to bare metal, as the coat it came with was minimal. You can see the faint blue and yellow area where the gas tank sits.
Here's the sealer-primer being applied:
The last step was to recondition the gas tank, primer it and paint it (a stainless steel color), and then splatter paint the trunk area where the spare sits. Now it just needs the hood!
